The Avaya E169 Media Station is an IP endpoint suitable for Avaya IP Office. It allows for docking of smartphones/tablets for charging and integration with compatible Avaya communication systems (such as IP Office). Compatible devices include Apple and Android smart phones & tablets using either Micro USB or 30-pin/Apple Lightening connectors. The unit can be used standalone without any docked device (as an IP Endpoint). Integrated Bluetooth means you can even control your smartphone when not docked.
Use the Avaya E169 Media Station as a standard SIP desk phone on its own, or, dock your tablet/smartphone log in via the Media Station ap and turn your mobile device into an enterprise grade communications tool.
The included USB connected handset has a comfortable, padded earpiece, convenient dial pad and delivers exceptional sound quality. Basic features such as transfer, mute, conference and more are available standalone for enterprise class SIP desk phone capability.
With a 3.5mm headset jack and superb audio quality the E169 Media Station offers excellent call quality. The unit also features a top quality handsfree speaker capability with 6 speakers (spatial audio) and 4 microphone array with acoustic echo cancelation.
The "bring your own" concept (using your own smartphones or tablets for work),truly can become part of the workplace with the E169 meaning you stay connected wherever you are and feel totally integrated with your device at your desk location now too!
